Successful Officers Training Day and Diners’ Club Conducted at SLAC Regimental Center

Under the guidance of Major General S W M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the Commander, Security Forces - West and the Colonel Commandant Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC), the Officers Training Day and a Diners’ Club for the 1st quarter of 2024 were successfully conducted on 21 February 2024 at SLAC Regimental Center.

SLAC Senior Officers and Officers participated in the training day, marking a significant moment in professional development in the Corps.

The Training Day was structured, featuring insightful segments including educative lectures, physical training, and sword drill training, aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of the participants.

As the day progressed into evening, a culminating segment took place with the Diners’ Club, designed to broaden the horizons of knowledge on Meta Leadership through Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Mind Muscle Vibration Therapy (MMVT). This session was conducted by Leadership and Personality Training Specialist Dr. Kuma Iddamallena, providing valuable insights to the attendees.

The Guest Lecturer, Dr. Kuma Iddamallena, was warmly welcomed by Major General P.R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, Director General - Directorate of Staff Duties.

The seamless execution of the training programme was made possible through the dedicated coordination of the staff of the Armoured Brigade, under the overall supervision of the Commander of Armoured Brigade, ensuring a highly productive and enriching experience for all participants.
