A disinfection chamber, innovated by a three-member group of students, Navidu Nikith Weerarathne of Grade 12, Loneth Fernando of Grade 7 and Ansara Ayodhya Wimalasinghe of Kegalu Vidyalaya was donated to the Gemunu Watch (GW) Regimental HQ at Kuruwita on Saturday (18) for use in necessary places manned by the Army.
Produced relatively at low cost on the guidelines given by the Zonal Educational Director, Principal and Vice Principal at Kegalu Vidyalaya with the support of parents and students, the fully automatic disinfection chamber functional for nine seconds for one can be moved with ease to any place in a light vehicle.
