Still 10,454 Persons in 100 Tri Service-Managed QCs - NOCPCO

As of this morning (11), a total of 284 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. 16 Sri Lankan expatriates and 268 of those positive cases are locally-identified ones, including the majority 83 from Colombo District, 30from Kurunegala District, 29 from Kalutara District & Jaffna and 97 others from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (11), a total of 94,847 persons, inclusive of 90,295 of the fish market and Minuwangoda Brandix cluster have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 91,455 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 2,796 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centers.

In the past 24 hours, 184 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. 1more death has been reported from Udahenathenna area in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 596 by this morning (11).
