State Officials & Troops Share Views on Welfare Projects

In order to further strengthen existing bonds of working relations and update operational mechanism in the event of emergencies, 523 Infantry Brigade troops of the 52 Infantry Division had a cordial meeting with 33 Grama Seva and State Officials at 7 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment premises in Chavakachcheri on Tuesday (07 November).

Officials from 61 Grama Seva Divisions including the Divisional Secretary Mrs. Usha Subalingam attended the meeting over a lunch treat.

This initiative was taken by the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 52 Infantry Division and the Commander, 523 Infantry Brigade, in coordination with the Commanding Officers of the 11 Field Engineer Regiment and the 7 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment. The event provided a unique opportunity for civil administrative officials to interact openly with the military personnel.
