Staff Sergeant Yupun Abeykoon of the Sri Lanka Army Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) at 100m open event in German Open Athletic Championship finished it in 10.06 seconds on Thursday (26) and created a new South Asian Record breaking his previous record of 10.15 seconds in the year 2021.
Thus, Staff Sergeant Yupun Abeykoon broke all South Asian records in 100m as well as the south Asian records while claiming victory against all Asian records.
