Sri Lanka Football Team Qualifies for AFC Asian Cup 2027

The Sri Lanka national football team achieved a significant milestone by securing their place in the final round of the AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers on 10 September 2024. The team clinched their spot with a 4-2 victory over Cambodia in the second leg of their playoff, held in Cambodia.

This victory marks one of the most notable achievements in Sri Lankan football history and paves the way for their participation in the AFC Asian Cup 2027, scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia.
