Sri Lanka Army Volleyball team in a convincing victory beat their counterpart of the visiting Pakistan Army team by 3-0 during the much-awaited Sri Lanka Army volleyball team Vs Pakistan Army match played this evening (29) at Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Indoor Courts at Ambepussa.
The friendly match, played to a packed volleyball fans of the tri-services from its beginnings saw Sri Lanka Army team taking a comfortable lead although the opponents strongly resisted.
Major General Boniface Perera, Chairman, Sri Lanka Army Volleyball Committee as the Chief Guest for the occasion gave away trophies and shields.
Next matches of the Pakistan Army volleyball team will take place against inter Regimental teams of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force until 3rd June.
