The Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division bade farewell to Major General D.K.S.K. Dolage USP psc, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division on 25 June 2024.
In accordance with military traditions, a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour were accorded before he marked the end of his tenure by signing the official handing-over document at the office premises.
In his address, the GOC expressed appreciation for the commitment and dedication demonstrated by All Ranks during his tenure. He praised their genuine contributions and efforts in maintaining the highest standards in various tasks.
The farewell ceremony concluded with an all-ranks tea and a farewell street line, where best wishes were extended to the GOC for his new appointment as the Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College and for his future endeavours.
Senior officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and civil employees participated in the event.
