Sri Lanka Army Competitors Succeed at the “Eagles Monsoon Cup 2024”

The Annual Golf tournament, “The Eagles Monsoon Cup,” organised by the Sri Lanka Air Force, took place on 28 and 29 September 2024 at the Eagle Golf Course in Trincomalee.

Representing the Sri Lanka Army, Major General S.A. Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Major General U.L.J.S. Perera RSP USP psc, Colonel E.W.R.S.B. Ehelapola USP USACGSC, Colonel A.H.R. Hasantha RSP psc, and Major A.N. Tissa Kumara RSP participated in the event under the guidance of Major General A.H.L.G. Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the president of the Army Golf Committee.

Colonel E.W.R.S.B. Ehelapola USP USACGSC from the Gajaba Regiment triumphed in the “Nearest to the Pin” contest among 65 competitors. Additionally, Major A.N. Tissa Kumara RSP of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment secured the runner-up position in the tournament.
