The 13th Defence Services Rugby Championship, held from 09 April to 30 April 2025, concluded with the Sri Lanka Army men’s rugby team emerging victorious after a series of intense matches featuring Army SC, Navy SC and Air Force SC.
In the opening encounter on 22 April at the Navy Rugby Grounds, Welisara, Army SC triumphed over Air Force SC with a close 19-14 win.
In the second match held on 30 April at the Air Force Rugby Grounds in Ratmalana, Army SC secured a thrilling 29-24 victory against Navy SC.
The event was organised by the Army Rugby Committee under the guidance of Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B. Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Chairman of the Army Rugby Committee.
