The Sri Lanka Army emerged victorious in the National Karate Championship – 2024, organized by the Sri Lanka Karate Do Federation from 17 October to 18 October at the Bandaragama indoor stadium.
The tournament, which featured the participation of athletes from 31 sports clubs, was conducted across 35 different events. The Sri Lanka Army athletes excelled in the competition, earning 28 Gold Medals, 26 Silver Medals, and 30 Bronze Medals.
The Army team participated in the tournament under the close supervision of Brigadier R.D Sallay ndc, the Vice President of the Sri Lanka Army Karate Committee and Army Karate Pool.
