The Sri Lanka Army Baseball Team triumphed over the Sri Lanka Navy Team by 4 to 3 points during the National Baseball Super League – 2024 on 11 May 2024 at the Diyagama Baseball ground.
The tournament commenced on 09 March 2024 and the Army team took part after undergoing a special three-month training under the guidance of Major General W.L.A.C Perera RWP RSP USP, Chairman of the Army Baseball Committee and General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division.
The Army team became undefeated champions and Staff Sergeant P.M.B.I Kosala received the title of Most Valuable Player of the Tournament, while Corporal M.N Sriyarathna became the Best Batter. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks witnessed the tournament.
