THE Indigenous Medicine Ministry will take steps to establish a special ward for war heroes in the next construction phase of the Borella Ayurveda Hospital, Indigenous Medicine Minister Piyasena Gamage said after a visit to the hospital recently. The announcement came to coincide with the ongoing War Heroes week.
He said it is our responsibility to look after all war heroes at all times.
As a respect for all war heroes we have decided to construct this special ward.
"We also hope to establish a special ward for elders. As the Indigenous Medicine Minister I will take steps to recognize the value of indigenous medicine and develop it to the international level," the Minister said. (Courtesy: Daily News)
