The 2nd batch of foreign officers and other ranks receiving Army Commando training at Uva-Kudaoya Commando Regiment Training School is to complete their Specialized Jungle Warfare Course - No 5 by early September after their graduation ceremony.
Five Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers representing the Armed Forces of India, Bangladesh and Indonesia along with thirty-five local Officers and Other Ranks from the Navy, Air Force, Commando Regiment and Special Forces, began the Course early this month.
The syllabus of the course, designed to teach the trainees the importance of small-team concepts in jungle warfare incorporating 30 years of ground experiences of the Army lasts for one month.
