The visiting Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) of the Indian Army, General Manoj Mukund Naravane after his hectic but friendly sojourn in Sri Lanka on a five-day long goodwill visit was hosted to a formal banquet last evening (15) at the Army Headquarters during a colourful entertaining event dignified by the presence of his host General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army and his spouse Mrs Sujeewa Nelson, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU).

The Banquet evening turned more attractive and entertaining as cultural feats and more outstandingly the songstress Ms Yohani De Silva who elevated Sri Lanka’s singing industry to unbelievable heights made an entry into the distinguished gathering headed by the Indian COAS.
