Sons & Daughters of Army Personnel Given Incentives

A group of 100 selected Army personnel of the 66 Division, thanks to the sponsorship, extended by a couple of Colombo-based philanthropists on a request made by the 66 Division on Sunday (17) received gift parcels, inclusive of much-needed school accessories for their school going sons and daughters.

Concerned about the welfare of troops serving in the 66 Division, commanded by Major General Duminda Keppetiwalana, Messrs Chethiya Gunasekara, Deputy Solicitor General, Asanka Rathnayaka from Hayleys (Pvt) Ltd, Samantha Rathnayaka, Ms Chathurangani Rathnayaka and a few other donors have joined hands together to provide those incentives to children of Army personnel serving those remote areas in Kilinochchi.

Mr Chethiya Gunasekara, Deputy Solicitor General and Major General Duminda Keppetiwalana were present during the distribution of those incentives to the recipients at the 66 Division Headquarters under the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi.
