A two-week long course on 'Machines & Equipment Maintenance', designed to give some practical knowledge to soldiers on management of office machinery, electrical appliances, vehicle mechanical equipment and electronic items and their vital maintenance, organized by the Administration and Quartering Branch of the SFHQ - Wanni on the guidelines given by Major General Dhammika Jayasinghe, Commander Security Forces - Wanni concluded on Wednesday (2).
Officer instructors and Senior Non Commissioned Officers from technical arms delivered most of the lectures and conducted practical exercises for a total of 42 Other Ranks serving in all battalions under the SFHQ-Wanni who were following the course. A certificate was also issued to each attendee on completion of the Course on the final day during the closing ceremony, attended by Major General Dhammika Jayasinghe, Commander, Security Forces- Wanni as the chief guest
