Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna (SFHQ-J) troops facilitated a group of school children at St. Bosco Vidyalaya, Jaffna to visit the Palaly airport on Monday (13).
Arrangements for the students’ visit were made by the Commander, Security Forces-Jaffna, Major General Mahesh Senanayake in coordination with the Sri Lanka Air Force.
The visit was arranged in response to a request made by Rev. Sister Mary Roshandi, Principal, St. Bosco Vidyalaya, Jaffna.
A total of 6 teachers and 202 school kids joined the visit. During the visit, Army soldiers treated them with snacks and soft drinks.
After the visit to the airport, they visited the Thalsevana Holiday Resort and Naval Base in Kankesanthurai.
