The eight-month long Sniper Training Course - 16 at Sniper Trainers School at Diyatalawa had its Passing out Parade (POP) recently during a grand military ceremony.
The course was followed by 6 foreign military officers and other ranks, 2 Army officers and 23 other ranks, and three Navy personnel including an officer.
Chief Guest for the occasion Major General H.M.H.A. Herath, Commander, Army Training Command (ARTRAC) attended the graduation ceremony, together with 112 Brigade Commander, Army Volunteer Force Training School Commandant and several other senior officers.
Those graduates after a fine display of sniper shooting during the ceremony received their testimonials and awards from the Chief Guest and other senior officers.
