SLSR's New Colonel of the Regiment Takes Office

Major General U.D Wijesekara RWP RSP USP rcds psc assumed duties as the new Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) on Tuesday (12 December 2023) during a brief ceremony at the SLSR Regimental Headquarters in Ambepussa.

The day’s proceedings after military formalities invited him to signify the acceptance of his new office as Colonel of the Regiment after placing his signature in a formal document. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
