The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) Regimental Centre arranged a week-long training workshop for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SCNOs) with the intention of grooming SNCOs to perform duties well with confidence and betterment of the organization during May 18-25 at the Regimental Centre of SLSR at Ambepussa.
This was initiated on the instructions of Major General G.R.R.P Jayawardena RWP RSP ndu, Quarter Master General and Colonel of the Regiment of SLSR and conducted under the supervision of Brigadier C.S Thibbotuge, SLSR Centre Commandant.
Accordingly, the training session covered milestones pertaining to regimental history, responsibilities of SNCOs, leadership, drill, military law, social etiquettes, medical and etc.
The SLSR Centre Commandant graced the closing ceremony held at SLSR Regimental Centre Auditorium and delivered the closing remarks.
Staff Officers, Instructors of the course and Other Ranks were present at the event.
