The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) Inter-Battalion Swimming Competition 2024, organized by the troops of 8 SLSR, took place at the Regimental Centre SLSR in Ambepussa on 08 February 2024. Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Commander, Security Force - Wanni and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The 1 SLSR swimming team secured the championship, while the 11 (V) SLSR team clinched the runner-up position. Rifleman E.M.K.G.S Bandara, representing 1 SLSR, distinguished himself as the Best Swimmer of the competition.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks witnessed the competition.
