Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) on Saturday (5) bid farewell to retiring Major General Pooraka Seneviratne at the SLSC Regimental Headquarters premises in Panagoda in keeping with military traditions.
The programme of events commenced with the ceremonial Guard Turnout, followed with wreath-laying to remember fallen SLSC War Heroes at the Regimental Monument and a Guard of Honour, presented by SLSC troops. During his troop address at the RHQ SLSC auditorium, he thanked all for sustained support given to him by SLSC troops during a service of more than 34 years in the Sri Lanka Army.
The event came to end with an all rank tea, held at the Other Ranks’ Mess at the SLSC Regimental Headquarters.
The formalities culminated with a formal dinner night, hosted by Officers at the Regimental Officers’ Mess.short url link | Nike Shoes
