41 Officer Cadets of Intake 81 presently under training at the Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) Diyatalawa on Wednesday (22) visited the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ - MLT) in order to learn more about roles and tasks, being carried out by the SFHQ - MLT troops as part of their training programme.
Colonel S Kasthurimudali, General Staff Officer of the SFHQ - MLT warmly received Cadet Officers and instructors and briefed them on Civil-Military relationship programmes and activities, being conducted by SFHQ-MLT troops.
Cadet Officers also visited Mullaittivu premise before they visited 7 Gemunu Watch (GW) camp in Udayarkattu and listened to the 7 GW Commanding Officer.
Moreover, the same student officers on Thursday (23) visited the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ - KLN) during a study tour with the aim of learning more about roles and tasks, being carried out by SFHQ - KLN troops.
Brigadier Admin and Quartering, Brigadier General Staff of the SFHQ - KLN and senior officers had a friendly discussion with those 41 Officer Cadets and educated them on Civil-Military relationship programmes and activities of the SFHQ - KLN.
After the presentation, those Officer Cadets went to the Harmony Center where the 571 Brigade Commander presented a briefing on the SFHQ - KLN projects. Exchange of mementoes ended the programme.
