In celebration of International Women's Day, a workshop on beauty culture and fashion designing was organized at the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regimental Centre under the guidance of Mrs. Vajira Perera, the Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI - SVB) on 23 March 2024.
The workshop conducted with the participation of 150 spouses of SLLI Officers and Other Ranks. The workshop featured expert sessions by renowned professionals in the industry, including Beautician Mr. Chandimal Jayasinghe and Fashion Artist Mr. Rukmal Senanayake. Their expertise and insights provided valuable knowledge to the attendees, enhancing their understanding of beauty culture and fashion trends.
During the programme,18 pregnant spouses were donated essential gift packs. Simultaneously, the Annual General Meeting of SLLI - SVB took place on the same day. The meeting included the appointment of new committee members and productive discussions on upcoming welfare projects.
