The Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Regimental HQ bid farewell to retiring Major General S.R.K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc during a special ceremony on 14 January. The sequence of events commenced with the ceremonial Guard Turnout, followed by a ceremonial Guard of Honour and a floral tribute to the SLLI War Heroes monument. Subsequently, outgoing Senior Officer addressed the Officers and Other Ranks of SLLI.
The day's proceedings culminated with a formal military Dinner Night at SLLI Officers’ Mess on the same evening (14).
