SLLI Colonel of the Regiment Visits his under Command Battalions

Major General S.R.K Hettiarchchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Commander Security Force Headquarters Jaffna and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment (SLLI) undertook field visits to the 1 SLLI, 8 SLLI, 20 SLLI and 2 (V) SLLI camps in order to receive updates on their administrative matters and nation-building tasks.

During each visit, Commanding Officers on respective battalion warmly welcomed their Colonel of the Regiment and comprehensively briefed him on their present role and tasks. In addition, the visiting Colonel of the Regiment inquired about their logistic needs and administrative matters before necessary guidelines were given.

Major General S.R.K Hettiarchchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc addressed the troops of respective battalions and had a cordial interaction with them.

Overlooking SLLI Centre Commandant, Colonel L.H.C.R Siriwardana RSP and Staff Officers of SLLI Regimental HQ were also associated with the visits.
