SLEME Senior NCOs Complete Diploma in Industrial Management

The Diploma in Industrial Management Course No. 02, introduced for Senior Non-Commission Officers (NCOs) of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME), concluded on 31 July 2024 at the Sri Lanka-Korea National Vocational Training Institute in Orugodawatta.

Under the guidance of Major General S.P.A.I.M.B Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of SLEME, the six-month course aimed to recognise military personnel as technical experts. The course was conducted in collaboration with the Vocational Training Authority (VTA).

After completing the course, the NCOs eligible for the ‘Artificer’ qualification, which is recognized in Commonwealth countries. In his closing remarks, the Deputy Chief of Staff and Colonel Commandant of SLEME expressed pride in the participants' accomplishments and dedication to mastering technical management skills.

Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and Assistant Director of the Sri Lanka-Korea National Vocational Training Institute, participated in the closing ceremony.
