The Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) Regimental Headquarters hosted a formal ceremony on 28 February 2024, to honour the recent promotion of Major General T.A Peiris ptsc.
The newly promoted Major General was warmly welcomed on arrival at the premises and saluted in a Guard Turnout. Adding memories to the day, he was invited to pose for a few group photographs with the Regimental Staff.
Subsequently, Major General S.P.A.I.M.B Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc, Deputy Chief of Staff and Colonel Commandant of SLEME extended his felicitations to the newly promoted Senior Officer during a meeting in his office.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of SLEME took part in the day’s event.
