The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) officially took over the customary duties of the ceremonial guard at the President's House from the Sri Lanka Air Force with effect from 01 July 2023 for a period of 06 months.
The transfer of this customary duty was marked by the formal signing of documents, followed by an exchange of greetings between the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and the Sri Lanka Air Force troops.
