Environment-concerned troops of the Special Investigation Unit of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) on Friday (18 August 2023) carried out a beach cleaning programme along polluted Wellawatte beach patch with the participation of more than 100 troops.
Major General A.C.A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, Provost Marshal and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police gave his blessings to the project.
The close supervision of Colonel M.M.M.P Mahesh Kumara, Commanding Officer of Special Investigation Unit enabled the smooth conduct of the project.
