Major General Anil Ilangakoon, Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) paid a visit to the 4 SLCMP camp at the request of Major K.N Indrajith, Commanding Officer (CO), 4 SLCMP on Friday (Jan 20).
4 SLCMP troops at the entrance to the camp at Mailady, Kankesanthurai presented a colourful Guard Turnout in honour of the visiting SLCMP Colonel Commandant.
The day’s proceedings included group photographs, a briefing of the CO, 4 SLCMP, and a troop address before the day’s visitor joined all ranks for refreshments.
A sapling was planted in the camp premises by the Colonel Commandant as a symbol of memory of his visit.
