SLCMP Brushes up Duty Roles & Logistics of SNCOs

The Sri Lanka Corps Military Police (SLCMP) Regimental HQ launched a full-day workshop for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) of SLCMP on 17 August at Regimental HQ on fulfillment of their logistic duty roles.

The workshop was designed to enhance the knowledge on advanced theoretical aspects, beneficial to carry out their required tasks within the battalions and provide vast knowledge on their particular subject areas.

The workshop syllabus consisted of subject areas such as Unit admin, Admin & Logistics Procedures, Regimental Accounts, Camp Security, Audit Procedures and updated procedures on conduct of Army Events, Investigation Procedures, Ceremonial duties and Offences.

More than 85 SNCOs including Regimental Sergeant Majors, Drill Instructors, Regimental Quarter Master Sergeants, Company Sergeant Majors, Other Section in charges and Subject Clerks who are currently performing duties at under-command SLCMP units attended the comprehensive workshop.

The workshop was organized under the direction of Major General A.C.A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. Well-qualified Staff Officers of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police conducted the lectures.

At the end of the day, the closing address & the certificate awarding ceremony were held in the presence of the Provost Marshal and SLCMP Colonel Commandant, Major General A.C.A de Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, Centre Commandant and Other Officers.
