Major General M.K.U.P Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG assumed duties as the new Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) on 12 December 2023 at the SLAWC Regimental Headquarters, Borella.
The day’s proceedings included customary military formalities. Presently, Major General M.K.U.P Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG is holding the office as the Commander, Security Forces -East.
