Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, the General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) conducted an official visit to 7 SLAWC on 20 May 2024.
The Commanding Officer of 7 SLAWC warmly welcomed the arriving Senior Officer and he was accorded a Guard Turnout at the entrance. Afterwards, he visited the camp premises, gaining the knowledge of the Unit’s capabilities. During the camp visit, he addressed the Officers, imparting valuable guidance to further enhance the Unit's efficiency and effectiveness.
Adding memories to the day, the Colonel Commandant was invited to pose for a few group photographs with the Unit staff and was also invited to plant a sapling in the compound. Before his departure, the Colonel Commandant penned some complimentary remarks in the visitors' book. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present during the occasion.
