The Counselling Psychologist, Mrs. Bhagya Abeysinghe with the intention of healing the mindset of the soldiers, coincident with the training day delivered an impressive lecture on 'Contended Family Life' at the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) Headquarters on 23 August 2023.
Major General D.M.K.D.B Pussella RWP RSP, the SLAVF Commandant conceptualized the project. The lecture touched on the question of narcotics, love, consisting of three components, called intimacy, passion and commitment where it creates a strong consummate relationship in the family and was delivered using thematic songs and music.
Major General N.T.K.R Silva KSP, the Deputy Commandant SLAVF, Brigadier W.G.P Sisira Kumara RSP, the Inspector of Training and a gathering of Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks listened to the lecture.
