SLAVF Partners with Sri Lanka Insurance to Provide Insurance Facilities for Military Personnel

The Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) has renewed its collaboration with Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation General Limited, entering into a new agreement, "Virusaviya," to provide insurance benefits for its members. The agreement, signed on 28 November 2024, will be in effect from 01 December 2024 to 30 November 2025.

This event took place at the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation General Limited's Head Office in Colombo. The agreement was signed by Major General B.K.G.M.L Rodrigo RSP psc IG, Commandant of SLAVF and Mr. Chandana L. Aluthgama, Group CEO of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation General Limited.

This partnership, ongoing since 2005, provides a wide range of welfare benefits, including outdoor and indoor medical treatments, surgeries, childbirth, and death benefits. The agreement is renewed annually to ensure continued support for the welfare of SLAVF members.

Senior Officers from SLAVF and officials from Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation also attended the event.
