To uplift the communication skills of the officers in the Sri Lanka Volunteer Force (SLAVF) Headquarters, the ‘Battalion Presentation’ programme for all under command Battalions was introduced on the directions of Major General W.A.S.S Wanasinghe RSP VSV USP ndu, SLAVF Commandant.
In the first stage, 3 (V) Gemunu Watch (GW) under the leadership of the Commanding Officer of 3 (v) GW, together with Officers of the 3(v) GW produced the first presentation under the topic ‘Warming and Steps Can be Taken to Minimize Its Impact’ on 31 May at the SLAVF HQ in Kosgama in the presence of Major General W.A.S.S Wanasinghe RSP USP ndu, SLAVF Commandant, Major General M.T.K.R Silva KSP, SLAVF's Deputy Commandant and several other Senior Officers.
The presentation culminated with the question and answer session where the audience was able to clarify their doubts pertaining to the subject matter from the presenters in the group.
At the end of the presentation, the SLAVF Commandant commended their efforts taken to prepare for the presentation well.
