The Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) conducted the third phase of dry ration pack distribution programme at the multi-functional hall of the SLAVF on 17 December 2024 under the supervision of the Deputy Commandant (Overlooking) and Inspector of Training, SLAVF.
The event was graced by Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commandant, SLAVF as the Chief Guest.
During the programme, dry ration packs including essential food items, each worth over Rs. 5000.00 were donated amongst 100 Other Ranks and civil staff of the SLAVF. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and Civil Workers participated in the event.
