SLAVF Conducts Administrative Inspection on Volunteer Battalions Serving under SFHQ - Central

A team of Officers and Other Ranks of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF), led by Major General M.T.K.R Silva KSP, Deputy Commandant, SLAVF conducted the annual administrative inspection on the volunteer battalions serving under the Security Force Headquarters - Central during 23-24 November.

The routine inspection mainly focused on the functional aspects of its battalions and the administration of those battalions under command to the Security Force HQ - Central and the Volunteer Force Training School (VFTS) in Diyathalawa.

Major General U.D Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc, Commandant, SLAVF gave necessary guidelines for the routine inspection.

The Deputy Commandant, SLAVF was received by Colonel J.A.J Jayaratne KSP, Commandant, VFTS in the company of Brigadier S.K.M.M.N.K Mahanthe KSP, Brigadier Coordinating Officer and Colonel Coordinating Officers on arrival to the camp premises presenting a Guard Turnout.

The SLAVF Deputy Commandant made a courtesy call on Major General W.W.H.R.R.V.M.N.D.K.B Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Commander, Security Forces - Central.
