A lecture on the theme, 'No Army is better than its Soldier' as one segment of a series of educative lectures, planned at the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) HQ got underway on Friday (19).
Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda, Commandant SLAVF and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Artillery delivered the comprehensive lecture on the above theme citing prerequisites, needed to be adopted to be a full-fledged Officer and a Soldier worthy of emulating and worthy of identifying him/her as someone outstanding and unique.
Creating inspirational thoughts among participants, he touched on the possibilities for release of workload as well as adoption of administrative procedures with a relaxed mindset. The participants included Senior Officers, Colonels, Coordinating Officers, Liaison Officers and Commanding Officers at the SLAVF Headquarters.
