The Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) marked its 34th anniversary at the Regimental Headquarters in Werahera on 15 January 2024 amidst military formalities and religious observances. Major General P.A.C Fernando USP, Director General of Army Health Services and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps, graced the ceremony with his distinguished presence.
A notable highlight of the day was the official opening of the newly constructed Welfare Complex and Side Wicket, symbolizing progress and growth within the corps. The Colonel Commandant, in a significant gesture, declared these facilities open, underscoring the commitment to the well-being and development of the corps members.
The anniversary segments concluded with the customary all ranks lunch.
