Under the guidance of Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC), Major General W.W.H.R.R.V.M.N.D.K.B Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, a successful suicide prevention lecture series was conducted on 21 March 2024.
The event took place at SLAGSC Lecture hall, with participation of nearly 500 Army personnel. This initiative was organized by SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAGSC - SVB) in collaboration with the Regimental Headquarters and was sponsored by District 306 C1 Region 3 Lions Club.
The Centre Commandant, Members of SLAGSC - SVB, Lion Governor Mr. Panthaka Dabare, and other senior members of the Lions Club were present at the event. As part of the program, 20 selected participants were given the opportunity to attend a free one-day workshop funded by the Lions Club.
