A farm shop which sells vegetables and meat products for Army personnel was declared open at the 1 Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (1 SLAGSC) premises in Panagoda on Friday (27) following a proposal of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva.
Under the supervision of Major General M.H.P Mihindukulasuriya, Colonel Commandant, SLAGSC and Colonel A.K.B Gunerathne, Director Agriculture and Livestock the establishment of this stall was possible.
The farm shop opens at 3.00 p.m every Friday. Army farm and meat products can be bought at subsidiary prices at half rate.
Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and all other Centre Commandants, senior officers, officers and other ranks attended the occasion.
