SLACDRT Begins Its Course - No 10

Basic Disaster Response Course - No 10 at the Army-established ‘Sri Lanka Army Centre for Disaster Response Training’ (SLACDRT) at Kotmale commenced its sessions with opening remarks delivered by Colonel Anil Somaweera, Commandant, SLACDRT on Thursday (28).

05 officers and 136 Other Ranks of the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu, Security Force Headquarters - East and the 58 Division of the 1 Corps of the Army are attending the Course No 10.

The Course is scheduled to end on 20th December 2021. At present, SLACDRT plays a vital role with the aim of sharpening the skills and improving the theoretical knowledge of the military personnel when dealing with the possible disaster situations in the country.
