The newly-constructed ‘The Repose’ Holiday bungalow of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) at Weerawila facing Weerawila Tank was declared open on 02 June by the SLAC Colonel Commandant, Major General D B S N Bothota RWP RSP USP psc.
SLAC troops on the directions of the Colonel Commandant erected it as an extension of regimental welfare measures.
Several Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the opening ceremony.
