The Inter Regiment Drill/Pace Stick Competition - 2024, organized by the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC), concluded with an awarding ceremony at the Armoured Corps Training Centre (ACTC) in Kalaththewa on 03 May 2024. Brigadier L.K.T Fernando RSP USP, the Commander Armoured Brigade, graced the awarding ceremony as the chief guest.
The competition took place on 02 and 03 May 2024 at ACTC. 1 SLAC Drill Squad clinched the Championship, while 4 SLAC Drill Squad securing the 1st Runners Up and 5 SLAC Drill Squad as the 2nd Runners Up.
In the Pace Stick Competition, 7 (V) SLAC Pace Stick Squad emerged as the Champions, followed by 1 SLAC Pace Stick Squad as the 1st Runners Up and 5 SLAC Pace Stick Squad as the 2nd Runners Up.
Captain D.A Nilanduwage of 1 SLAC received the Best Commander Award and Warrant Officer II D.P Dissanayake of 7 (V) SLAC was honored as the Best Drill Instructor.
