SLAC Diners' Club Invites Former CDS & Commander for Lecture

Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) Regimental Centre at Modara during its Diners’ Club interactive meeting at the Cavalry Officers’ Mess on Friday (11) had General (Retd) Jagath Jayasuriya, a former Chief of Defence Staff, 19th Commander of the Sri Lanka Army and a former Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps as the guest speaker on 'Traditions and Customs'.

It was organized on the guidelines given by Major General Prathap Tillekerathna, Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps with the objective of broadening horizons of knowledge of Cavalry Officers.

The lecture focused on contemporary values for the success of professional and military life, differences between traditions and customs and a wide variety of relevant issues, arising out of those practices, etc.
