Major General M.S Devapriya USP ndc, the 15th Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps, made his inaugural visit to the Armoured Corps Training Centre on 30 November 2024.
Upon arrival, the Colonel Commandant was accorded a Guard Turnout, followed by the planting of a sapling and a group photograph. After a detailed briefing by the Commandant of the Training Centre, the Colonel Commandant delivered the Officers' Address, emphasizing the importance of the soldier's profession, financial management, and self-discipline. This was followed by a visit to the camp and a troop address.
The day's program concluded with an interactive session and lunch at the Officers' Mess. Before departing, the Colonel Commandant signed the visitors' book.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
