The Army-organized 'Army Relay Carnival' competed by teams representing all the regiments of the Sri Lanka Army was held on Wednesday (21) at Sugathadasa Stadium and it was held covering 4 x 200 m, 4x 800m, 4x 1500m and a medley.
During this carnival, two Sri Lankan records were broken by 5 Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) in 4x200m and medley relay with outstanding performances.
Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) dominated the men’s category and 5 SLAWC emerged champions in women’s category.
